SADE joins CeLLife´s pilot factory opening!
The journey of CeLLife's unique measurement and diagnostic technology reached yet again a new concrete milestone as CeLLife invited its customers and partners to explore its Lahdesjärvi pilot factory in Tampere, Finland! Initially, the factory has the capacity to process one million battery cells per year, and this capacity will grow as the technology matures.
CeLLife's patented ultra-fast measurement technology enables the analysis of battery cell performance and remaining lifespan, critical for solving many global battery-related challenges: availability of raw materials, variable quality in battery production, and challenges of battery recycling and waste.
And how does SADE Innovations relate to CeLLife? Through collaboration, of course 😁. SADE is involved in CeLLife's project in many ways: SADE and CeLLife have jointly developed the mechanics, electronics, and software for the remote measurement devices for customer use. These devices make use of cloud solutions and web application based on SADE Booster. This way, CeLLife can offer its customers a comprehensive solution that not only manages test setups and conducts tests but also collects data in the cloud for analyses and visualizations.
The pilot factory visit on November 24 began with speeches from Ilkka Sasi, Deputy Mayor of Tampere, Johanna Ala-Kerttula, CEO of Finnish Battery Recycling PB, and Tuomas Messo, the second founder of CeLLife, at Tampere University. After that, the group traveled by bus to Lahdesjärvi for the factory presentation. "A truly fantastic opportunity to show concretely to so many customers and partners how far we have come," said Roni Luhtala, the event's host and the second founder of CeLLife. "Creating a new era in battery recycling is definitely not a small feat!" added Mikko Leiwo, CeLLife's Sales Director, continuing, "It requires a lot of hard work and seamless collaboration, but fortunately, we have a great team and great partners, and everyone is aware and ready for the fact that processing one million battery cells per year in this pilot factory is just the beginning!"
