Farpointe Data and SADE Innovations opening doors!
We all open quite many doors every day, and we don´t usually really think about it. But Farpointe Data does. And nowadays, also SADE Innovations. Just like there are many doors that you don´t have to unlock, there are many that need to have secure electronic access control. And the easier it is to provide security access to the right people, the better. This is where Farpointe, a US-based global partner of choice for premium RFID solutions, and SADE Innovations, Finland-based full-service cloud and IoT partner, put their minds and hands together.
CONEKT® is Farpointe Data’s mobile smartphone access control ID solution — consisting of a smartphone wallet app, mobile and physical credentials, combination Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)/contactless smartcard readers, and combination Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)/proximity readers. SADE Innovations developed a cloud solution for CONEKT®, with a Web UI, based on AWS & SADE Booster IoT Asset, that enables the creation and delivery of mobile access credentials. In practice, when the mobile credentials are installed to a smartphone’s wallet, the phone becomes the badge that enables physical access. For example, your office door could then be opened with the mobile phone as your key!
