KAIO – AI that doesn’t just do marketing, but learns how to guide it

New AI tools for marketing are emerging all the time. Most promise faster content creation and better campaigns. But what if AI could do more than just create content? What if it could:
• analyze your company’s data
• identify what actually generates revenue, and
• guide what you do based on that data
That was Kallio.ai’s vision. Together, we set out to build it. And we did. The result is KAIO.
More than a tool
KAIO is not just another tool. It is a system that brings together the company information provided to it (business goals, target audiences, challenges, competitor information, and tone-of-voice guidelines) with the company’s website, analytics (Google Analytics, Google Ads), social media channels (Meta, LinkedIn), content creation, and business development. The result is a unified understanding of the business, guided by data. KAIO builds a clear picture of:
👉 where you are now
👉 what is working
👉 what you should do next
And most importantly, it turns that understanding into action. KAIO builds a roadmap, creates a concrete task list, generates content suggestions, and continuously optimizes what to do next.
A system that learns your company’s language
At the heart of KAIO is what is known as a BLLM — Business Language Learning Model. It learns each company’s unique business language: its terminology, tone of voice, target audiences, competitors, and goals. In practice, this means KAIO doesn’t start from scratch. It understands the context before making recommendations — and can guide actions in a way that fits the company and its goals.
Built for real-world use
SADE Innovations was responsible for the technical implementation of KAIO. Development took approximately one year in close collaboration with Kallio.ai. Kallio brought the vision and business expertise — and SADE built the system.
KAIO is also the first large-scale system built by SADE Innovations around Large Language Models (LLMs). During development, KAIO was put to the test in SADE Innovations’ own marketing. Petri Hirvonen, responsible for marketing at SADE, sums up his experience:
“I’ve used KAIO as part of its product development in both planning and executing SADE’s own marketing. What I’ve particularly liked is KAIO’s ability to understand our strategy and turn it into a concrete Task list — real actions that can be prioritized, refined, tracked, and taken directly into execution. Extremely useful.”
Built with AI – for AI
AI was also extensively used in the development process itself. “The AI-native development approach completely changed how quickly we were able to experiment, iterate, and improve solutions. Things that would traditionally have taken days could be done in hours. And there was something pretty cool about building an AI system with AI 😁,” says Mikko Tapaninen, Lead Developer of the KAIO project at SADE Innovations.
KAIO utilizes multiple language models (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Grok), and users can switch between models in the settings whenever they want. This provides a technical advantage: KAIO is not locked into a single provider, and different models can be used for different tasks, taking advantage of the strengths of each.
AI that guides action
One of the key differences compared to traditional AI tools is that KAIO doesn’t just answer questions — it guides action. And importantly, it continuously learns how to guide your specific company better and better as actions are implemented and their results tracked. KAIO:
• builds a plan
• breaks it down into tasks
• helps turn those tasks into action
• tracks the results and uses them to make the next plans and tasks even better
This makes KAIO more of an operational system than a standalone tool. It can be used either as part of an expert-led service or directly to support a company’s own work.
KAIO’s chat functionality also enables interactive collaboration with the system: users can discuss strategy with KAIO, request analyses, and refine plans. You can — and should — also discuss the impact of completed actions with KAIO, helping it make the next set of actions even better.
Kai Leinonen, CEO of Kallio.ai, summarizes: “KAIO uses data to guide a company’s customer acquisition and ensures that sales and marketing activities lead to measurable results. We have brought management, marketing, and sales together into one guided system. No one else has a customer acquisition management system like this.”
Tero-Pekka Laakso, Customer Director at Kallio.ai, who has been responsible for the KAIO project on Kallio’s side from the very beginning, continues:
“We have placed a strong emphasis on practical benefits. KAIO turns strategy and business goals into concrete actions across different channels. This keeps activities aligned and allows resources to be focused on the actions that actually work. It’s been really exciting to see what KAIO can do now that it has been launched! We introduced KAIO in the spring as a soft launch ahead of broader marketing this fall, and interest has already clearly exceeded our expectations. Honestly, customers have come on board in greater numbers and faster than we anticipated at launch, which gives us a lot of confidence as we head into our broader marketing push this fall!”
