Silmu chair - technology as enabler for recreating yourself
In today's fast paced world, being able to focus and recharge yourself every now and then is critical for keeping oneself productive and energized.
Silmux Oy is developing Silmu chair to help you to reach exactly this goal, a private experiential space where you can recreate yourself for example during a hectic work day or focus to the task at hand in a noisy public space like airport.
SADE Innovations has been working together with Silmux to integrate technological solutions, which help to reach this goal. With the help of different sensors, many aspects of the chair conditions (e.g. air quality, audio environment, lighting conditions) are automatically adjusted to provide you with the optimal experience to focus and calm down. In addition to this, end user is provided with simple, touch based user interface to customize the experience further, and the ability to connect his/her phone with the chair for streaming music and controlling the chair.
Built on top of the SADE Booster IoT asset, the developed solution includes:
1) IoT hardware solution that manages chair conditions and provides the needed connnectivity and user interface,
2) mobile app for more comprehensive chair control,
3) cloud & web UI for remote chair management and data analytics.
This project is another good example of the fast and efficient development cycle that SADE Booster IoT asset enables. Instead of spending time with the basics, focus has been from day one on the value adding requirements that makes Silmu chair special from the end user point of view.
