Weasel Software joint venture will deliver software development and consultancy services for City of Turku
January 10th 2019 the City of Turku closed their bidding competition for IT development and consultancy services. The frame agreement was made for two years. After the two years, there is an option to continue for another two years. SADE Innovations Oy participates as part of the Weasel Software joint venture. Altogether the companies in the joint venture include about 80 people. The co-operation with City of Turku started in March.
We participated in seven different IT / Digitalization categories, we won six of those categories and were 3rd in one category! This means that we will get calls for tenders regarding projects in all 7 categories. Considering the other bidders, many of which were much bigger companies and well known industry brands, our win was a really big success. Let’s hope Turku will now walk their talk and invest in development the way they indicated. The value of their investment is expected to be several million Euros during the coming 4 years.
