SADE going strong in EEZY Golf Challenge
SADE Innovations participated in EEZY Golf Challenge in Salo Golf for the first time, and since it is a tournament for players who don´t have golf as a hobby, the intent was just simply go out there and have some fun. But wait…. we should´ve known better.... in the end, we got competitive, and played to win 😄:
Anssi Saarikko, SADE´s caddieCoachTrainerTeamManagerSalesDirector unfolds just how it all went down: ”Well, yeah, what´s remarkable in all this is that we took the first place in the Golf Challenge in one fell swoop. Before this, the best result was 12 strokes, and our result was 10, and actually, the last stroke by Toni would´ve gone in if it hadn´t been for the hole flag pole! So we were really close to reaching Birdie, and that would´ve been an all-time first in Golf Challenge. Our performance was utterly superb, and it was a lot of fun to see these technology nerds with golf clubs in their hands, hitting balls really well, and it felt almost like being out there with a bunch of pro players”.
Thank you Gavon for challenging us and inviting us to join, and thank you Salo Golf for taking care of all the practicalities! And of course, a big hand to SADE´s first-ever Golf Team 👏👏👏👏: Tuomo Koskinen, Mikko Tapaninen, Toni Laivo, and SADE non-pro Golf Team Pro Manager Anssi Saarikko! Next, in the rigorous training program of the SADE golf team, we move to the individual mental training phase, with the aim of fine-tuning all the required sub-motions being properly aligned and timed to perfect our strokes…. or in other words, we take off and head for our summer vacations, and do not practice at all, ensuring that when we go to the “Final Four” competition on the 2nd of August, we will be just as prepared as we were for the qualification round! Stay tuned!!
