SADE Innovations opens an office in Turku
SADE Innovations, a full-service R&D house based in Salo, opens an office in Turku, Finland. Henry Lockmer has been appointed as the head of the Turku office, and in addition to furnishing the new office (located in the legendary Kop-Kolmio, in the heart of the city), reconnoitering new places in the city center to take a coffee break, and of course coding, Henry is also recruiting new IT talents to the Turku office. “Lots of IT professionals live in Turku, as well as future talents who haven´t finished their studies yet, so if you are interested in becoming one of us, simply contact me”, Henkka urges. ”For our own product, Booster IoT asset, we make use of AWS (Amazon Web Services) Serverless architecture and React Library, and mainly write Typescript, but we are also in search of developers fluent in other technologies and programming languages. We do a lot of software subcontracting for our customers, and they have various technologies in use.”, Henkka continues.
”Our roots lie in Salo, and expanding to Turku is a natural part of our growth”, explains CEO Juha Kuosa. ”Many of our team members live either in Turku or in one of its nearby municipalities, and it´s fun to set course for the city center of Turku in the morning, instead of heading for Salo by motorway. Practically speaking, as is expected, we all work in a hybrid mode nowadays, both in the office and in the home office, and from now on, we also have the Turku office to opt for, so at least we don´t get bored with having to work in the same place day after day. In addition, the opportunity to come to the Turku office every once in a while, even if it´d be mainly for fun and to check out the lunch offering in the center of Turku, has been welcomed with considerable enthusiasm by our team members from Salo”, Juha laughs. ”And of course, what is important is that we can now more easily meet with our many existing customers who are based in Turku. And with all new Turku-based customers as well.”
