Strengthening Nordic Innovation – SADE at the Iceland–Finland Business Forum 🇮🇸🤝🇫🇮

Last week, SADE Innovations had the honor to participate in the Iceland–Finland Business Forum, held at Nokia’s Executive Experience Center in Espoo as part of the State Visit of the President of Iceland, Halla Tómasdóttir, and the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb.

The high-level event, organized by Business Iceland and Business Finland, brought together leading companies and innovators from both countries to explore cooperation in gaming, energy, and dual-use technologies — three key areas shaping the future of Nordic innovation and resilience.

Representing SADE Innovations, Sales Manager Sami Metsänperä took part in discussions around digitalization, smart energy systems, and dual-use technologies — and connected with experts and companies driving forward innovation across the region.

“It was inspiring to meet people like Haraldur Óli Ólafsson and Tómas Karl Guðsteinsson from Ísorka to discuss the future of smart EV charging, and to exchange views with Antti Lappalainen from Kajaanin Energiatuotanto on energy distribution security,” Sami says. “Events like this show the strength of Nordic collaboration — open, agile, and built on mutual trust.”

The forum once again highlighted how close cooperation between Finland and Iceland can advance shared goals in technology, sustainability, and security — values that SADE Innovations is proud to promote through its work in connected systems, IoT, and digital transformation.
