Electrify Your Business Summit 2026 ⚡🔋

SADE took part in the Electrify Your Business Summit at Salo IoT Campus, bringing together companies and experts working with electrification, battery technology, heavy-duty transportation, and machinery.

The seminar explored how electrification is changing industry and transportation — and, more importantly, what this already means in practice. Topics included the electrification of heavy-duty transportation and machinery, charging technology, new powertrain technologies, and the development of battery technology and the battery business.

It was especially great to hear IONCOR’s Matti Huttunen talk about the changing landscape of the battery business. SADE has been involved in the development of IONCOR’s battery systems since 2020, particularly working on embedded software for BMS and MBMU systems. 🔋

Between the seminar sessions, there was plenty of time for networking at the mini expo, where SADE had our own stand 💪. In addition to laptop demos, we also brought along some physical products from our customer projects: the display solution for the Rebelvolt e-Generator and the SATEL MCCU-30 router designed for vehicles that acts as an intelligent data transmission hub in heavy machinery.

Electrification is an interesting area for us because it’s about much more than batteries and electric motors. As machines, vehicles, and other devices become electrified, they increasingly need software, embedded systems, user interfaces, connectivity, data, and cloud services around them. And that’s pretty close to SADE’s home turf! 😁
