How Silmux built a private space that adapts itself to you
Sensors adjust air quality, sound and lighting in the Silmu chair, with a simple touch interface and a phone connection — built on SADE Booster.
Silmux
Silmux Oy developed the Silmu chair: a private, experiential space where you can recharge yourself during a hectic work day, or focus on the task at hand in a noisy public place like an airport.
SADE Innovations worked together with Silmux to integrate the technology into the chair. With the help of different sensors, the air quality, the audio environment and the lighting of the chair were adjusted automatically for the best experience to focus and calm down, and the user had a simple touch-based interface and a phone connection for streaming music and controlling the chair.
Built on the SADE Booster IoT Asset, the solution includes the IoT hardware that manages the chair conditions, a mobile app for more comprehensive control, and a cloud and web UI for remote chair management and data analytics.
